Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Vitamin E acetate 80 mg
Sodium Selenite 1.6 mg
Properties:
An important function of vitamin E is its antioxidative action, which contributes in stabilization of oxidation-sensitive fatty acids in cellular metabolism and other oxidation-sensitive compounds, such as vitamin A,carotenoids and in-termediate stages of the carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin E is necessaryfor healthy growth and proper hormones function of muscles and nervous system.
Selenium is a trace mineral enhances the utilization of vitamin E. it is required for the formation of the enzyme glutahion peroxidase, this anti oxidant enzyme protects body cell against oxidative damage by hydrogen peroxide.
Selenium is important for maintaining a healthy function of vital body organs, and promoting immune response to antibodies.
Indications:
For the prevention and treatment of the selenium / vitamin E deficiency syndrome in calves and lambs, including the various manifestations of nutritional muscular dystrophy (White muscle disease), infertility, reproductive failure and lowered vitamin A metabolism.
Dosage and administration:
Sterile solution for I.M or S.C injection
Calves: 1.0-2.0 ml per 45 kg body weight daily.
Lambs. 0.5-1.0 ml per 20 kg body weight daily.
Withdrawal period:
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption before one day from the last treatment.
Storage:
Store at temp below 30°C in a dark place.
