The activities of the Qatar Camel Festival are still going on under the slogan "Gazilat Al-Atta" and will continue until the eighth of next March, at Labseer Square in the Shahaniya area.
The festival included local and international competitions. The first is designed to give Qataris the opportunity to compete and qualify, and provide them with the expertise they need to compete in the second race, which is distributed to all camel owners around the world, especially the Arab Gulf states. The festival includes the participation of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman. The festival is also considered one of the highest festivals that offer financial prizes, as the prize value exceeded 47 million riyals, and there will be 114 participation tours in three categories under one umbrella: (Al Majaheem, Al Mughateer, and Al Asayel), based on which the most beautiful female camels or camel herds will be selected according to the specifications and specific standards approved by experts and experts.
