Dexazona contains one active pharmaceutical ingredient: Dexamethasone, a synthetic glucocorticoid; it combines high anti-inflammatory effects with low mineralocorticoid activity. It has an approximately 7 times greater anti-inflammatory potency than prednisolone, another commonly prescribed corticosteroid. At high doses, it reduces the immune response.

Indications:
Dexazone is indicated in any chronic or acute painful inflammatory process of the locomotor system associated with the musculoskeletal system.
Phenylbutazone works as a powerful analgesic and antipyretic that, associated with Dexamethasone (anti-inflammatory), generates a better response that improves high-performance training.
Route of Administration:
– Intramuscular injection.
Dosage:
The usual dose is 2 mL per 100 kg p.v., per day, for 5 days, unless otherwise indicated by the veterinary professional.
